SCALAR is built to read as two jeans worn at once. Vertical panels of reclaimed denim in contrasting washes create a trompe-l’œil effect across the leg, so a second pair appears to sit beneath the first. The cut drops straight from the hip into an exaggerated, baggy wide leg, with raw patchwork seaming shaping the volume and a double pleated waistband gathering it in. Frayed edges are left at the pockets. Loose form, calculated construction.
