RAVEL sculpts a strapless dress from three past suiting trousers, pieced apart and hand-draped around the body. Asymmetrical draping carries the original tailoring lines through, rather than erasing them, falling long at the sides as full trouser panels and shorter at the front through an inverted box pleat system. The pleats pull open off-centre, revealing a dramatic thigh-high slit with movement. A concealed side zipper closes it quietly, letting the illusion take centre stage. Tradition, transmuted.
