PITH constructs a maxi skirt from menswear trousers. An original front and back are each cut and reworked before being rejoined at the sides. The overlapping panels shift against each other with movement, opening into side slits as tension builds through each stride. The front is designed to wrap around the body and tie at the back, apron-style, layering over the trouser back panel beneath. Hand-applied white frayed trim traces all welt pockets, and a front zip sets the fit. Three trousers, made new.
